Parents What to Bring

Wondering what you’ll need to bring to camp? Here are some important things that you will need and won’t want to forget at home:

  • Bible (if you have one)
  • Notebook + pen
  • Beach towel + face cloth
  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Water bottle
  • Flashlight
  • Sunscreen lotion
  • Insect repellent
  • Medication (if needed)
  • Clothes for a week of camp, rain or shine
    • Pants
    • Shorts
    • T-shirts/tank tops
    • Socks
    • Underwear
    • Pyjamas
    • Sweater/hoodie
    • Rain jacket
    • Good running shoes
    • Sandals
    • Hat (to keep the sun off)
    • Swimsuit
  • Toiletries
    • Soap
    • Shampoo
    • Toothbrush
    • Toothpaste

We ask that all clothing be free of obscene or offensive printing and appropriate for the activity you are participating in. Swimwear is to be modest in nature and one piece suits are encouraged. Also, there are a few items that we don’t want you to pack. Please do not bring any valuable items (like expensive jewelry), skateboards or electronics (like iPods, gaming devices or cell phones).

Cigarettes, alcohol and illicit drugs are prohibited at camp.

We end up with a ton of lost and found at the end of each week, and we really want to you to go home with all of your personal possessions! Be sure to label all items brought to camp so they are easy to identify as yours.
