Fantastic news! Canoe Forest Products is generously donating the plywood required to build Phase 1 of the Journey of Hope. Phase 1 involves the addition to our Gymnasium, which includes a workout space, washrooms, and a shop. They are providing us with 297 sheets of 1/2" plywood and 72 pieces of 3/4" plywood, totalling $15,000.
CFP, a member of the Gorman Group of Companies, expressed its appreciation for the long-standing relationship both it and SBC have had with the Shuswap community, and it is a legacy they desire to continue building. CFP began in the 1880s, with SBC following a few decades later in 1940. We are incredibly grateful!
